Invitation for Nominations - Teaching Award and Leadership Award
Nominations for the annual Inspiring Teacher of English awards are now open. Presented by the Speak Good English Movement and The Straits Times with the support of the Ministry of Education, the Award has two award categories – the Teaching Award and the Leadership Award. For many winners, this award strongly affirms the work they do, and encourages them to continue inspiring and motivating their students. Each winner will receive a $2,000 cash award and a trophy.

All students, their parents, and teachers are invited to send in nominations for the Teaching Award to the School Principal by 6pm on 23 March 2018.
Schools are invited to select one nominee from among all the nominations received, for the Teaching Award using the Teaching Nomination Form and Teaching Endorsement Form below:
The Leadership Award was introduced in 2014 to recognise HODs/SHs/LHs/LCs who have led their school in the development and implementation of an effective English Language/ English Literature/ General Paper programme.
All schools are invited to send in one nomination per school for the Leadership Award using the Leadership Nomination Form below:
All completed and endorsed forms from schools are to reach the Speak Good English Movement by 6pm, on 6 April 2018.
